Review Week Comments and Feedback

Blog

For this post, you’ll be thinking about the blog commenting and project feedback assignments:

          • use the Feedback label at your blog to review your initial thoughts
          • take a look through your blog comments to see what’s there
          • read back over your own Introduction post with fresh eyes

Then, write up a blog post(500 words min) with your thoughts.
1. Feedback in. Overall, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are receiving from other students in the class? What kinds of comments are you finding to be the most useful?
2. Feedback out. Similarly, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are leaving for other students? Have you found some good feedback strategies? Are you getting some good ideas for your own writing as you analyze other people’s writing?
3. Blog comments. Do you have a sense of getting to know people by connecting with them at their blogs? Are you happy with how your Introduction post and how your blog, in general, provides a space where people can get to know you?
4. Looking forward. What do you want/need to do differently to make the feedback assignments more useful for others and/or more useful for you? Do you want to make any changes to your blog? (There are some extra credit Tech Tips for that if you want to tinker and experiment!)
Give your post the title “Review Week Comments and Feedback,” and use Week 9 as the label.
Then, after you have published the post, think about any suggestions you have for me. If you have ideas about how I can do a better job organizing the commenting and feedback assignments, you can make suggestions at the Suggestion Box and/or send me an email. or even let me know on Slack
When you are done, do the Declaration:

DECLARATION: Review Week Comments and Feedback

POST TITLE: I used “Review Week Comments and Feedback” as the title.
POST LABELS: I used Week 9 as the label.
