Some of you have expressed an interest in learning more about coding, how it works, and learning some of the terminology associated. These extra credit tasks are designed to help you with this.

For each of these tasks go to the Unity Beginner Scripting page and choose a tutorial to complete.  I suggestion start with the first tutorial (Scripts as behaviour components) and then you can complete subsequent tasks for each additional extra credit blog you do over the course of the semester. Each task should take around 5 to 10 minutes. When you have finished then write/record a brief blog post about the tutorial you did (recommended 50-150 words plus an image), and then you can do the Declaration. Remember, you can work ahead, so if you find it helps to do a lot of tasks at the start of the semester, that’s great; you can declare them for Week 2, Week 3, Week 4 and so on in Moodle.

I completed a Unity Beginner Scripting tutorial and made a blog post about it.
POST TITLE: I used the phrase “Beginner Scripting” plus the name of the task.

POST LABELS: I used the label “Coding Task” plus the week’s label.
