In Week 05 we begin by reading more about the elements that make up games MDA(mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics) and conclude the week writing about a vision statement for your game proposal – It will help to flick through the Unity tutorials to see what topics you will learn and be able to implement into your game.
Activities for Week 05
Task 01 - Reading
This assignment has two parts: the first a set of readings and to finish up, you will write up a blog post with your thoughts.
Task 02 - A Twitter Task
It takes an effort to create a community. Each week you will have a choice of a Twitter Task to complete.
Task 03 Tutorial
Each tutorial will have two parts, the first will be to complete the tutorials with the second a brief post describing what you have learned, what you have enjoyed/found difficult, what you’re looking forward too?
Task 04 - Project
Each week you will work on a part of the Project, this will tend to take the most thought, time and energy! We will work on it weekly so we don’t panic towards the end of the semester.
Task 05 - Project Feedback
Feedback plays a fundamental role in learning. the first few weeks we will learn more about feedback and then put our new skills into action.
Task 06 - Blog Comments
Each week you will be leaving comments on other people’s blogs.
Optional – Recommended
Task 07 – MultiDev Live
MultiDev Live is a opportunity to interact in a guided active learning session reflecting on the activities of the week providing opportunities for feedback and guidance.
Task 08 - Extra Credit (optional)
At different stages of the semester you may have time to engage in some extra credit. You can do these extra credit options any time during the week.

Task 09 - 1-to-1 meetings
This is a 1-to -1 feedback sessions. This allows you an opportunity to discover how your semester is progressing as well as make suggestions to how best I can support you.
